Follow these tips and tricks to get the most out of your investment.

BRUSH IT GOOD. BRUSH IT REAL GOOD

Wow! That's a lot of hair, right? This means more tangles. Be sure to brush your hair multiple times a day! Before and after sleeping and after working out, or any leisure activity. Or, just when you want to draw attention to your beautiful hair. Be sure to keep your hand lightly pressed on the top of your row & brush underneath the foundation area to avoid pulling. When blow drying, never dump your hair upside down, and always get the top of the wefts completely dry to avoid the weft from swelling and shedding earlier than normal.

NIGHTLY RITUAL

To avoid tangles and bed head, sleep with your hair pulled back into a low ponytail or braid. I recommend using a silk scrunchie and applying Oi Oil to the ends for an overnight treatment, Silk pillowcases are also worth every penny and good for your hair!). Never go to sleep with wet hair!

KEEP IT PROFESSIONAL

Don't go spending all this money on new hair and make the mistake of using crummy products. Be sure to use the professional hair care recommendations that I shared with you! Shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant, and hair serum/oils are a must! I've included some of my favorite products in your starter kit. Oil your hair at least once a day. Our extensions aren’t attached to our scalp (danget, right?) So they don’t have access to the natural oils our scalp provides.

SUN-DAY BUN-DAY

Summertime can be tough on extensions. Keep sunscreen, chlorine, and saltwater away from that mane! READ THAT AGAIN! All of the above can cause discoloration to your extensions that CANNOT be fixed. If this happens, the only solution is for you to purchase new hair!

Use a MINERAL sunscreen such as Bare Mineral, Sun Bum Mineral, or Super Goop to avoid e harsh chemicals that will alter the color of your extensions. Spray in a leave-in conditioner to create a protective barrier and wear your hair up in a bun off of your shoulders. Be sure to rinse your hair right away if you get it underwater. If you have any questions or concerns, please text me so I can walk you through anything you may need! Welcome to the wonderful world of extensions! You'll never go back.
